Bouncers. Sunday Morning. Pre-school to Reception Year.
Bouncers Operation Policy
The following requirements have been agreed on for the running of a Bouncer session. Should for any reason these requirements not be met, then for the protection of the children and adults the session should not go ahead and children should instead go with their parents into church.- We operate with a minimum of 2 adults, and then in a 1:3 adult:child ratio. This assumes that there is a "Go4" in CCC, should parents or others need to be contacted or for the making and bringing up of refreshments.
- Visiting parents or parents of under-ones should not be counted as one of the adults in the above ratio.
- Teenagers aged between 13-15 may be counted as a third 'adult'. A 16+ teenager may be also be counted as the second 'adult' if CRB checked.
- At least the leader and one other adult should be CRB checked. This allows a child to be taken to the toilet and the Bouncer room door to kept closed.
- Toileting should be done by an adult (16+) with a CRB check.
- We are not in a position to look after babies - children have to be at least one and on their feet. Any younger children than this are welcome to join us but parents must come across with them.
- Children should be collected from the Bouncers Room by a parent or designated adult at 11:45 p.m.
- Parents of a visiting child must inform the leader of any allergies or any other information needed about their child. Thereafter a medical form needs to be completed.
