Marriages which may not take place in church:
There are those which are forbidden by law; bigamy is not permitted, nor is marrying under-age, nor marrying too close a blood relation.
Although we do not offer a full wedding services to those where one has been divorced and there is a former spouse who is still alive, we do offer a service of prayer and blessing after a civil marriage.
